Thought Questions, day 62: If it all came back around to you, would it help you or hurt you?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 62: If it all came back around to you, would it help you or hurt you? To be perfectly honest, I think it’d be a mixed bag. I’d hope it would help me, but I should probably work on that a little more. I know there have been times in the past when I’ve seen it come back to help me in really interesting and timely ways, so I do have faith that what you put out into the world will come back to you.

Thought Questions, day 61: Is it more important to love or be loved?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 61: Is it more important to love or be loved? I would they’re equally important. Loving without being loved can leave you with no love to give, because you’re so emotionally drained you don’t know how to love anymore. But being loved and giving nothing in return is pure selfishness, and shows a different kind of emotional wound.

Thought Questions, day 60: What is your most beloved childhood memory?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 60: What is your most beloved childhood memory? Probably spending time in the state park near our house. I loved tramping around in the forest and I still do, but I don’t get as many chances to do so these days, so those memories are dear to me.

Thought Questions, day 59: Why do we think of others the most when they’re gone?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 59: Why do we think of others the most when they’re gone? I think humans are naturally ungrateful for the things they have, including relationships, and they only miss them once they’re gone. It’s a terrible habit and one we should all work to break.

Recipe Writers: May’s Fresh Flavors

How was your April? It was kind of mixed here–we had tons and tons of rain, though there was the occasional peek of sunshine. Hopefully May will be warmer, sunnier, and allover more pleasant! We did end up with some amazing recipes being linked up last month, though. Did you see (or try) Fiddlehead Hash, Pappardelle with Summer Vegetables or these Veggies with Cous Cous?

Anyway, May is here! May is full of lots of wonderful things. May 1st was Mayday, today is Cinco de Mayo, and later on we’ll have Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. This month’s theme is:

May’s Fresh Flavors
We are welcoming the fresh ingredients that are beginning to grow. What are you doing to celebrate the warm weather with food?  Be sure to link up after the jump!

Here is how Recipe Writers works: at the beginning of every month we will introduce a new theme and all share our recipes here. The link party will close on the last day of the month. This way you will have time to share a recipe before and after the holiday (if there is one) so others can try it, check out other recipes to try yourself  and impress your family and friends with the delicious flavors of the season. For example, January was Healthy Eating, February was Valentine’s Day sweets and March was St. Paddy’s Day Snacks and April was Spring Delights!
Co-hosts:
Amanda Rose from Sew Much 2 Say

Remember, this link up is open until the end of the month and we will have a new one next month starting on the 1st.  Don’t forget to check in next month to see if your recipe was featured. So, what are you waiting for? Make your favorite fresh May recipes, blog about it and share them with us!

Thought Questions, day 58: Has your greatest fear ever come true?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 58: Has your greatest fear ever come true? No. My greatest fear is losing the people closest to me, and I’m very blessed that this hasn’t happened. I try not to think about it a lot, because it only makes me unhappy, and I think that energy would be better used enjoying as much time as possible with my loved ones.

Thought Questions, day 57: Have you ever regretted something you did not say or do?

I got these questions from Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, where I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself. My friends Katrin, Celeste and Jasmine have also been answering these questions, so be sure to go check out their blogs too!

Day 57: Have you ever regretted something you did not say or do? Of course, I think everyone experiences this at some point or another. I would say I regret some of the chances I’ve had to try new things, but I passed because it would have meant breaking out of my comfort zone. I’m working on changing that.
