I have lots of bad habits that I can’t break, but the one that probably causes me the most daily stress is my habit of hitting the snooze button over and over. I know that if I just got up a few minutes earlier, I’d have time for a little morning exercise, or a proper sit-down breakfast, or time to just sit and wake up with my coffee–any of which would probably make my whole day much less stressful. Instead I sleep until the last possible minute and then hit the ground running like a madwoman.
What’s the bad habit you can’t break? Tell me in the comments!

I hear you! I do the same most of the time but then I tried to force myself to get up immediately. And it works. Not every single time but a lot of times.

I should probably move the alarm clock away from the bed so I have to get up right away too!

Oh man, tell me about it. I sleep til the last possible minute… then sleep another 5. I’m always rushing and always running late. Perhaps this is part of why I’m totally not a morning person??

It could be, LOL. I always feel so much more put together if I have time to wake up slowly, but it’s sooooo hard to drag myself out of bed on time!

Oh man.The snooze button. One of my worst enemies!!! I am ALWAYS late. I don’t know why I can’t just leave a few minutes earlier… it’s SO HARD for some reason. But I’m trying… so that’s my bad habit :)

Me too! I see a gap of a few minutes and think, Oh, I’ll just fill it by reading or something…I should tuck my book in my bag and just leave early! I never learn :P

That’s a hard habit to break. I think if I got up earlier, I’d have more time to do certain things.
My bad habit is shopping. I feel like I need to buy something. I wish I could stop feeling like that!

LOL I get that way sometimes too! Especially with makeup!

I set my alarm to the last moment I can, so that I’m forced to get up or be late for work. But I do wish I didn’t have to use an alarm clock at all… I hate being woken when I’m sleeping. I guess my one bad habit is that I procrastinate in going to sleep. The days are so short, I just want a little more time to relax and unwind at night, but I know if I don’t get enough sleep, I’ll be sad the next day.

Oh, tell me about it. I always feel so much better when I wake up naturally. But I kill that idea by staying up until my eyes are burning…usually reading :D

I used to be that way! It takes time. But saying “no” can be a really healthy thing :) Hope you’re feeling a little better now from that awful illness you’ve had, btw! Fall is too nice to miss it with sick days!

Usually I am AWFUL about the snooze button, but lately for some reason I am up like clockwork at 6:30 and it has been really awesome because I get so much done and feel so much less rushed! I did, however, recently quit smoking. I haven’t had a cigarette in 12 days. Pretty good.

That’s awesome! Good for you!!!

I snooze my alarm an hour before I wake, lol. So you’re not alone. And I do this almost every day.

Isn’t it terrible? I don’t know why but I simply have to have that snooze period!
