I should probably list something healthy, right? Since I’m on this New Year’s health kick? But don’t worry, I won’t be that person. While I do love snacking on oranges and apples with peanut butter, I have plenty of perfectly unhealthy snacks to share with you, including but not limited to…
- Chocolate. In just about any form–in a pinch chocolate almond milk will do.
- Ice cream. The coconut milk kind is the best.
- Chips and dip. I rarely buy chips because I have trouble sticking to the serving size.
- Root beer. I’m not a soda person per se and almost never drink any, but I could guzzle this by the two-liter bottle.
- Strawberry lemonade. Which is weird, because I’m not big on regular lemonade.
- Tapioca pudding.
- Oreos.
- Homemade chocolate chip cookies.
- Cereal.
- Bagels with vegan cream cheese. Another thing I try to buy very rarely, so I won’t overindulge.
What are your favorite snack foods?

OMG I need to try this ice cream. It sounds AMAZING. Also I think I must have regressed Oreos because it’s the only way to resist them!!!

I just got some lemon Oreos for spring and honestly can’t decide whether to eat them straight or use them as the crust on a cheesecake…decisions, decisions…

Strawberry lemonade is the freakin’ best. Seriously, I’m the same way about it – I’ll drink tons & tons of it but if you give me regular lemonade, I’ll take a sip and leave it there haha. Strange. Oreos are my weakness. I try to limit myself to only eating no more than 4 within a sitting but sometimes it’s just SO damn hard.
Martha Woods
I can never stop at a serving size of Oreos. Ever. It’s not humanly possible.

Chips and dip…just about any chips and just about any dip…is SO my weakness. I don’t buy it unless we’re having a party because otherwise I’ll eat it all by myself.

I’m in the same boat as you! It doesn’t help when it comes in “family-sized” tubs!

Nothing like a good bowl of cereal! If I have a bag of caramel corn laying around… Look out! :)
Martha Woods
Oh man, that sounds good!

It depends on my mood! But I do love chips and salsa. And cheese of just about any variety.
And chocolate. And…
Way too many to list, and none of them very healthy!

I have trouble sticking to healthy snacks when less healthy options are in the cupboard! :P

Oh I forgot ice cream! Love the coconut cookie dough ice cream! So yummy! And I really need to try apples with peanut butter, never had that! And oreos! So yummy! I had some with coconut once! And I love that they are vegan! I am hungry now!
Thanks for linking up, sweetie!

Ooh, cookie dough sounds good! Now I need to go eat. :P

This post is literally making me want to run for the store and buy bags of chips and bagels. AH. I never bring my favorite foods into my house or I eat all of it in two sittings. I love cooler ranch Doritos, cheezit party mix, goldfish, oyster crackers, mm..I want some salty chips right now. Eating healthy is so hard!
Thanks for triggering my inner chubby girl.

It is really hard! Chips are the worst for me. But I figure that if I don’t bring it home, I can’t eat it…so mostly I just try to not buy any.

You named a lot of my favorites. I’m a big fan of chocolate. I also love most Little Debbie snacks. Oatmeal Cream Pie? Yes please. And then I can pretend it’s actually healthy because, well, oatmeal…
Martha Woods
Ha, I do that with apple pie and oatmeal cookies too!

I need to make a low-sugar version so I can indulge with less guilt!

Unfortunately for me, I have a huge sweet tooth! My favorite thing by far is anything chocolate, especially Reese’s peanut butter cups. I’m obsessed with them. I also LOVE ice cream, especially Dean’s Fannie May Mint Meltaway ice cream. I don’t discriminate though, I love almost any kind of ice cream and/or milkshakes. ;) It’s funny you mentioned tapioca pudding, because I was at Walmart last night and I debated for 10 minutes whether to get it or not. I didn’t end up getting it though, I resisted the urge. haha! :) I’m a first time reader and I love your blog, let me know if you’d like to follow each other on GFC!

I found the Justin’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups and I’m hooked–they’re a richer, vegan version of my standby Reeses (thank goodness, because I’m pretty sure I couldn’t go without chocolate and peanut butter!).

A pregnant woman should not read this post–you’re making me so hungry! LOL I LOVE homemade cookies of any kind, but chocolate chip is the best. And I was on a huge bagel and cream cheese kick at the beginning of this pregnancy. Mmmmm sounds so good!
Martha Woods
LOL sorry!! Chocolate chip cookies are definitely the best, especially with dark chocolate chips!

Oooh snacks! I’m not a huge snacker, but I do love the occasional gummy bears and oatmeal raisin cookies. And I’m also been loving ketchup-flavor chips and these awesome tofu snacks that my parents got me from china. :)

Yum, chips…should probably eat lunch so I don’t start snacking lol

I love chips and dips but I can’t get them all the time cause I end up eating more than I should. I also like apple sauce, chocolate pudding, and yogurt as snacks.
Martha Woods
Same! Mmmm, chocolate pudding. That sounds really good right now.

Ice cream or chips works for me.
