While reading Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, I came across a post in which she talked about a website full of 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself over the course of a year. I decided that I would start answering one of the questions each day for the next year. Some days I might only have a few words to post, some days I might have a whole essay. Not only will this give me a reason to blog every day for a year straight, it will get my creative juices flowing—and I think it will be fun! If you join in please leave me a comment so I can see your answers too. :)
Day #1: When was the last time you tried something new? Last week—I tried a new food, vegan shrimp. They were surprisingly good. Now I’m dreaming of vegan shrimp tacos.

I’d love to see your answers too! I’m not kidding when I say those shrimp have clouded my waking thoughts all week. I think today I’ll buy more and make tacos and rice for dinner!

This is great! I am going to do this, and will be sure to link to you :)
Vegan shrimp…hmm…I would just be worried that it would be really processed!

I’d love to see your answers! It was actually much less processed than I had imagined. Here’s a link to the company product page: http://sophieskitchen.net/html/products/shrimp.html

Funny my mind ran to trying new food first as well! Then I was trying to think of something intellectual, or adventurous. I am having a hard time coming up with something! Fun post!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with “new foods” being our first answer. :) It’s still something new and different!

Hmm when it comes to food, I love trying new stuff. Last time I tried something new was at work. I was trying to find a different way to run a report with the criteria that I needed and I got it to come out exactly like I wanted it.

That’s awesome :) It’s always such a good feeling when you try something new and it turns out just right.
