While reading Danielle’s blog Underland to Wonderland, I came across a post in which she talked about the website Thought Questions and their 365 thought-provoking questions to ask yourself over the course of a year. I decided that I would start answering one of the questions each day for the next year. Not only will this give me a reason to blog every day for a year straight, it will get my creative juices flowing–and I think it will be fun! If you join in please leave me a comment so I can see your answers too. :)
Day #9: What’s a belief that you hold with which many people disagree?
I believe that it’s wrong to use animals for food, clothing or entertainment. I won’t eat meat or other animal products, wear fur or leather, or use products/entertainment services that involve the mistreatment of animals, which can range from animal-tested makeup to circuses. A lot of people disagree, but I think it’s morally wrong to mistreat another living thing for your own amusement, and that includes animals, even if it’s “just” a fish or “just” another animal that isn’t cute and cuddly. If I wouldn’t do it to my pet kitties, I won’t do it, period!

Well, I agree on everything you just said. :) And wow, we are saving lots of animals!

Isn’t it awesome?!

I have a lot of respect for your belief. I don’t think I have the will power and determination to be vegan.
I believe that there’s nothing wrong with being single, or divorced for that matter but in my culture it’s like carrying a plague, lol. I’m one of those oddballs who have been single for too long and people tend to judge me for that. Well, I have my reasons. It’s not like I didn’t try. Perhaps it just wasn’t meant for me.

I’m sorry people judge you for going your own way :( I’ve always thought people put too much emphasis on marriage, even marriage when it doesn’t make you happy or isn’t best for you and your children.
