Is it really possible that it’s been over a month since I answered any of these? I kind of stopped because of being busy and such, but I want to get back on track and finish the year’s worth of questions. After all, I am halfway done. :)
#197: In your lifetime, what have you done that hurt someone else? Without going into detail, I’ve done things on a whim without thinking about how they might hurt my parents’ feelings, which is really a sucky thing to do and not really justifiable. (Especially to the person who lugged you around in their belly for nine months.) As I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten less rash, and now I try to think things through a bit more.
#198: What’s the best part of growing older? Becoming wiser.
#199: What’s been on your mind most lately? Death. Which is really morbid, considering it’s Christmas and all…but I’ve been dwelling on mortality a lot.
#200: What do you think is worth waiting for? Well, currently, I would say my weekly sessions watching The Vampire Diaries with J. and The Walking Dead with my husband. I guess I could just binge-watch them solo but it’s more fun to watch these with a friend so you have someone to share all the goodness with!
#201: What chances do you wish you had taken? I wish I’d taken the chance to travel and explore when I was younger and not tied down. Nowadays going out of town for a night is a huge thrill. But, with life comes responsibility.
#202: Where else would you like to live? Why? I’d like to spend time in Europe, just to experience different cultures. (And also, the food. I bet the food is amazing!)
#203: What motivates you to go to work each day? The fear of getting fired and not having money to pay my bills. I’d like to say something poetic and motivational here but honestly, after the last couple of weeks, that’s the only thing getting me out of bed when the alarm goes off.

I know what you mean about not thinking through the consequences of your actions. Don’t be too hard on yourself though – I think the ability to do that comes with experience!
I think about death ALL THE TIME. I try not to. But I am constantly aware that life is short. And rather than being motivated to take chances and make a life I want, I tend to just feel really limited and trapped by it. It’s a bit of an issue of mine.
TWD!!!! This season has been NUTS. And I can’t believe we’ve got to wait MONTHS now for more! Sometimes life is just really unfair.
I often wish I’d traveled more and done an exchange in university – there are so many places in the world I haven’t been! If I could live anywhere, though, I’d pick London, England. I love it there – all the history, the people, the accents… and it’s close enough to mainland Europe that traveling there for a short trip is completely plausible.
Also with you on the whole work thing. Ugh.

I’m so glad I’m not alone–I’ve been feeling guilty about it, given that it’s the holiday season and all! Ugh.
London would be an AMAZING place to live. Maybe someday I’ll at least travel there :)

202: You should totally do Europe, and if you ever want to visit you always have free accommodation with me!

Someday!!
Katrin
You totally need to travel to Europe! You are always welcome in my home! :)
And don’t be so hard on yourself. I mean, you learned from it and won’t do things like that anymore.
I am behind on The Walking Dead but I totally need to catch up. The current season must be so good!

Careful, I might just crash in some day! :P I have a feeling we’ll binge-watch TWD all through Christmas break. It just looks so, so good!

As I said, you are always welcome. :) I am sure the cats and bunnies would love having you here!
Have fun watching TWD! I am sure you will enjoy it a lot!
