A pretty low-key pick for Music Monday this week…Rainbow Kitten Surprise is a new-to-me band that’s apparently been around for quite some time. I’ve had ‘Devil Like Me’ stuck in my head for a week now and I’m not even mad.

Happy Tuesday once again, and welcome to another edition of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl (link up here). This week we’re talking about the books we totally meant to read in 2020, but just…didn’t. And that’s okay–2020 was a hell of a year!
But now that we’ve rolled over into 2021 (new year, new me), I’m trying to get back in the habit of reading at least one book each week. And there are quite a few titles left over from my 2020 TBR list that I’d like to tackle, in no particular order.
In these crazy times, one of my small (but favorite) comforts is digging through the music I loved when I was younger. There are some real gems in there I’d almost forgotten about. I don’t know if this cheers me up because it reminds me of simpler times, or if it’s just because these songs are legit bangers, or both. But in any case, it helps me feel less bleak about the current state of affairs here in the US!
It seems fitting that my first time linking up for Top Ten Tuesday this year involves bookish resolutions for 2021! I went through a hardcore reading slump for a while and I’ve only recently gotten back into reading on a regular basis. So, I actually do have several bookish resolutions to share with you guys this week!
